The transformation of digital communication has brought far-reaching implications for modern society’s behavior. Social media, instant messaging platforms, and interactive digital spaces have shaped new patterns of interaction that influence the ways people think, act, and build social relationships. This study employs a qualitative approach with thematic analysis to explore how digital communication interactions affect the behavior of Indonesian society across social, cultural, and psychological dimensions. Data were collected through literature review, in-depth interviews with 20 respondents from diverse age groups and professional backgrounds, as well as observations of digital activities on three major platforms: WhatsApp, Instagram, and TikTok. The findings identified four main themes: (1) changes in interpersonal communication patterns, (2) the strengthening and weakening of social cohesion, (3) the impact on information literacy and the spread of hoaxes, and (4) psychological implications such as a tendency toward digital addiction. This study emphasizes the importance of critical digital literacy, adaptive platform regulation, and the development of ethical communication in digital spaces.
