The Industrial Era 4.0 demands a fundamental transformation in organizational leadership practices. Leaders are not only required to drive innovation but also to ensure that principles of fairness and accountability remain the foundation of sustainability. This study aims to analyze how leaders in both the public and private sectors balance aspects of fairness, accountability, and innovation within the context of Industry 4.0. Using a qualitative case study approach, data were collected through in-depth interviews and focus group discussions (FGDs) with 20 organizational leaders in Indonesia. The findings reveal that the success of sustainable leadership is influenced by three key factors: transparency in decision-making, stakeholder engagement, and the courage to adopt new technologies while upholding ethics. This study contributes to the literature on sustainable leadership and provides practical recommendations for organizations to design leadership models that are adaptive, fair, and accountable in the digital era.
